  • CRU Team

The Cru Team members are the “behind-the-scene” workers of the Thursday night meeting. Putting together the schedule, setting up people to greet each week, running a game or theme, or running the power point up front are just a few jobs that a Cru Team member has. We meet once a week as a team to go over the next Thursday’s schedule and brainstorm ideas for upcoming post-cru activities, theme nights, and creative ideas for upcoming Crusade meetings. Our goals for the meetings are based around wanting a person who just attended Cru to say “I really felt the Spirit in Cru tonight”, “I had a really good time tonight”, or “I learned something tonight”. One reward of joining the Cru team is seeing the fruit of your labor on Thursday nights as people come to Christ, meet new friends, or just have a good time. Meeting once a week gives the team the opportunity to really get to know each other and have some fun. Cru team is a blast, and we want you!

  • CRU Team – (Worship Team)

The Worship team is a part of the Cru team, and consists of the band and the sound team. We set up and take down all the sound equipment each Thursday, as well as play every Thursday night at Cru and on retreats. Our goal is not necessarily to “sound good,” but to create an atmosphere where Christ is the center, not our performance. We are always open to people willing to help in any way (especially if you are good with the sound board or just want to help with set up/take down). We are still developing as a band, so more musicians aren’t needed so much at this point, but still feel free to ask because it’s definitely a future possibility. Thanks!

  • Bridges International

The Bridges team seeks to build sincere relationships between American and International students. These relationships will be built through weekly social events and Bridges Buddies. Although everyone can be a buddy, (and is highly encouraged to be one) only the team members will be responsible for organizing and executing the weekly events. Our goal as Bridges is to have Internationals become excited about Christ and his gospel and take that with them to other Internationals.

AIA is a Christian Bible Study ministry focused on bringing college-student aged adults from UWL and the surrounding area together to study God’s word. We are not exclusive to student-athletes, but use our common love for sport as a means to unify our group. We have weekly bible studies in 337 CC at 9pm every Wednesday evening. We also offer various activities to reach out to the public or bond our group. These activities include our fundraiser “March Madness 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament” and things such as camping trips or a boccie ball tournament. Our primary objective is to cause or assist growth in faith of young Christians.

  • Women’s Ministry

Women’s Time is a place where the women of CRU can come together and build Godly friendships while serving others and glorifying God. This is going to be a time where we learn from other women, serve with other women, and discuss important issues in the bible with other women. This year we are really going to emphasize the serving aspect of this ministry- not only in the community but with each other.  Also if you get involved with Women’s Time you will have the opportunity to go on a “Rotic”(romantic with out the man). A Rotic is a time where two women of crusade will have the chance to go out for dinner, or coffee, or just hang out! The time spent together will start building or will continue to build a Godly friendship while having a good time! Women’s time will meet Fridays at 3:30pm, the place will vary so watch for an announcement. If you have any questions please ask, and we really hope to see you there!
