About Me: My biology class my freshman year of college had twice as many people in it as there were in my hometown: Brooks, Minnesota. I majored in Elementary Education at Minnesota State–Moorhead where I met and fell in love with my handsome husband. I love being able to serve God in ministry with Mark and find great joy in seeing changed lives! Most of my time and energy in this season of life is spent with Matt and Josh, our 2 sons, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Being able to expose them to college students who love Jesus is a real blessing!

When I was a child I got a pony but we couldn’t catch it so my dad sold it. I love simplicity and value honesty over niceness. I dislike carrots very much. About Me: I grew up in St Paul and graduated from St. Mary’s Nursing School in Rochester. Even though I am not a practicing RN, I like to say, ” Now I am in preventive medicine.” I worked Student Venture Staff for 10 year before going to Berlin, Germany with my husband where we worked with university students for many years. We then had a desire for further training and attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School/Trinity International University. The latest season of my life I have spent starting Student Venture Ministries in areas where my husband ministers. So now I am in La Crescent/ La Crosse area and really loving it.
